Zoo Med Tortoise Playpen Our Zoo Med Tortoise Playpen offers a safe way for your tortoise to explore the outside, bask in beneficial natural sunlight and even graze on grass. Provides exercise and an interesting change of scenery from your pet's regular habitat. Great to use for feeding time, keeping habitat or terrarium clean and free of food debris. Lightweight so you can easily move to the best spot in your yard that provides exposure to light. Placement: Place Zoo Med Tortoise Playpen in the garden or yard on warm mild days only. Do not place the Zoo Med Tortoise Playpen on yard or garden where pesticides have been used. Place the covered sleeping area and half of the wire mesh side in the shade and allow the other half of the wire mesh side to be in direct sunlight. Always provide fresh water in the shaded area of the playpen. Tips: Keep tortoises outside for 1 - 3 hours, if they are basking, eating or drinking water then your pet is happy - if your tortoise receeds into the privacy area and remains there for more than 30 minutes return them to their regular habitat.
